Obituary of Dennis P. Bitetti

In Loving Memory of Dennis P. Bitetti, who joined his mother Dottie up above on October 26th, 2021, with family by his side. He is survived by his three children, Samantha, Dennis J., and Christopher Bitetti, one grandchild, Audrey Bitetti, one brother, Gary Bitetti, and many extended family members and friends. He was born in Rochester, NY on February 11th, 1958. Dennis was a loving father and grandfather. His children and granddaughter were the loves of his life and what he always referred to as his greatest accomplishment. Those who knew him well described him as an incredibly generous, outgoing, fun, and understanding man. He was easy to talk to, withheld judgement, and accepted people from all walks of life. Throughout his life he always forged his own path. He had a refreshingly unique outlook on most everything and could always challenge your preconceived notions. He was not political nor did he fit neatly into any category; he shaped the world to his liking! Despite his health challenges over the last year, he never let a day go by without calling “his kids!” His legacy will live on for eternity in the hearts of those he spent any time with. His love was boundless, his stories and lessons cherished; he will be sincerely missed. Calling hours will be held at Dierna Funeral Home, on Thursday, November 11th, from 3-7 PM with a Celebration of Life to follow on November 12th; please contact any of Dennis’s children for more information.
