Robert E. Dierna, Jr.
Owner and Licensed Funeral Director

Bob, Jr. graduated from East Ridge High School in 1975 and continued on to funeral directing school - graduating in 1979 from Simmons Institute of Funeral Service Inc .  He was married in 1988 to Lori Guggino and have 3 children, Bobby, III, Alec, and Heather. The Dierna family was very involved with the sport of wrestling - Bobby and Alec were both state champion high school wrestlers with both going on to wrestle for SUNY Cortland College. Alec is a national qualifier while bobby is a 3x all American which include 2016 D3 National Champion, both have one more year of eligibility. Currently, Bob, Jr. is coaching along with his brother at Spry Middle School when he's not following his boys wrestling matches.  Heather graduated high school in 2016 and plans to go on to hairdressing school.

Bob is a member of the Irondequoit Bay Fish and Game Club, Aqua-Sno skiers Inc., Chamber of Commerce, NYS Funeral Directors Association, and very dedicated to the families he serves.





Donald J.Macher, Jr.,
Funeral Director

Donald is a resident of the Town of Irondequoit. He graduated from West Irondequoit High School in 1998 and is a graduate of Simmons Institute of Funeral Service Inc. class of 2004, and is a NYS Licensed Funeral Director. He has been with Dierna Funeral Home since 2004.

Donald is a Life Active member of the St. Paul Blvd. Fire Department and held the rank of District Chief as well and is a member of the St. Paul Fireman's Exempt Club. Married to Jennifer Nardone for 8 years, they have two young sons - Cameron and Jaxson. When not working he enjoys every minute with his family.





Matthew T. Cup
Funeral Director

Matt was born in Rochester and raised in Livonia where he met his wife Kait, who is a nurse at Strong Memorial Hospital.  They now live in Rochester near Highland Park with their dog Puck.

Matt graduated from Livonia High School in 2003 and SUNY Canton in 2006. He has been a NYS licensed Funeral Director and working at Dierna Funeral Home since 2008. 

When not working he loves to spend time hanging out with family and friends and is a huge fan of the Buffalo Sabres.
