Condolences
I knew Debbie when I taught at Edison in the Mathematics Department. My prayers are with Debbie's family and friends. We all feel such a great loss.
My family and I have known Deb and her family for 34 years. My daughter Lauren and Carmen have been friends for all that time. That is how I met Deb and her beautiful family. Through the years we remained close and shared many good times. Deb and I both taught in the RCSD. I will remember Deb for her love of her family, gardening, cooking, and her
enjoyment of riding her Harley with her group of friends. She will always be in my heart.
Heartfelt condolences and love to her family.
My deepest condolence to the Botticelli family she was an awesome teacher / mother always care for others always stop what she was doing for others always enjoyed cooking. Loved riding her Harley still don't seem real that she's gone. My heart hurts I miss her like crazy all the laughs all the jokes all the good memories that we shared
Debbie. ALWAYS a bright star in all of our lives. Every interaction so calming, embracing, full of kindness. As kids we’d often show up with my Dad to say hi, and Cousin Deb would start a sauce from scratch, made sure we had plenty to eat, and oh my gosh, those greens and beans might be the best on the planet. There’s no one I ever felt more safe, and welcomed that Cousin Debbie.
Recently we’ve become arch rivals on Words with Friends where our epic battles would wage often times into the wee hours of the morning. Let’s just say she was kicked my butt more often than not. But always with a humble
message afterwards, saying she got lucky lol. This is where Deb would catch me up on the family happenings through the DM’s. It was great!
Recently, I had the opportunity to visit Debbie with my two daughters, Olivia and Sophia. We spent hours just talking about life. Sharing memories. During my visit both kids Carmen and Joey called and I was so impressed with how calming she was for them. Still giving the motherly advice, but listening and hearing them selflessly. Me and my girls were left with a feeling of being around a truly special person. Even in that brief encounter i stuck with both girls as the often bring up her kindness. Your kindness, your heart, your ability to make everyone you touched feel seen and heard will live on in all of us.
With Love,
Joel, Brie, Olivia and Sophia
Our condolences to the Botticelli-Hamza family.

Debbie I blessed the day I met you. You encourage me to be strong in so many ways . You became my big sister . I remember when we took are moms to a gospel concert and we watched them having so much fun we said we hope to be like them when we get old . You will be forever miss Marnesa
I'm so sorry for your tremendous loss, and I pray Deb is free and flying with the angels.
When Deborah became my next door neighbor the first thing she told me was that she drove a Harley—and her how d Wehrmacht talking about that made me smile. When Covid hit and we were all on lock down she would cook and then came me on my cell to let me know she was hanging a bag with food on the fence. My Covid 15 was all her fault…lol. Deborah was a great neighbor, always eager to trim bushes or help in any way. As I sold my house, she kept a part of me on Thatcher through the pots and plants we shared. Deborah was a bright spirit sho will be missed.
I had the great pleasure working with Deb at Edison. She was a great inspiration to students with disabilities. She was a true inspiration to my teaching career. Thank you for being there when my son passed. I will always remember you being so kind to me. I will miss you.
Love Jenn,
