Obituary of Kenneth H. Glidden

Kenneth H. Glidden, 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at home on September 19, 2021. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 65 years Arlene and his youngest son Kevin. He is survived by his children Ken(Deb), Kathy(Doug), Donna(Schub), Diane(Mark), David; his grandchildren, Kenny, Scott, Taylor, Jessie, Cory, Tyler, Ally, Makensie, Andy, Alex, Jada, Adam, Shayla, Kevin, Gary, Sean; great grandchildren Avery, Arya, Addison, Kaylee, Sara, AJ, Ayden & Ashton. Ken served his Country in the Army where he was a chef, which led to his life long occupation and passion for cooking where he was the head chef at Grinnells restaurant for 30+ years. His love of the Adirondack Mountains and outdoors has been passed on to all his children and grandchildren. He loved playing cards (euchre, gin & solo); he also loved shopping, cutting coupons, sports (bowling, golf, tennis, just to name a few), travel and also the occasional trip to the Casino. Ken was full of love for his family and taught us that family is everything and that the simple things in life are what matters. Ken's Mass will be held Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, 1460 Ridge Road, Webster, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Ken's name to the charity of your choice.
