Obituary of Elaine Marie Armanini

Elaine Marie Armanini Born: May 1, 1941, Passed: January 30, 2021 Elaine went home to Jesus on January 30, 2021 at the age of 79. She was born to Anthony and Frances Galante on May 1, 1941 in Rochester, NY. She is predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Dario Armanini, who passed on October 22, 2020 who was the love of her life. They met at RIT during their respective fraternity and sorority gatherings. They were blessed with three children, Dawn Herman, Lorin Donnelly, and David Armanini whom they raised with love and devotion. Elaine is survived by her loving brother, Dr. Andrew P. Galante and his wife Livia. She cared deeply for and was dedicated to her 9 grandchildren, Mitchell, Jordan, Kelly, Tommy, Erin, Douglas, Dylan, Ellie, and Jack. She also leaves many beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Elaine was a member of the 1959 East High School graduating class. While there she was the Editor-in-Chief of the East High yearbook, and engaged in a number of school activities. After high school, she attended RIT in the College of Business, and was a member of the Delta Omicron Sorority. In the early days of her marriage, her spirited personality fit perfectly for the role of Polaroid Camera Girl. She was a member of the Italian Women’s Club and participated in a knitting club. Her zest for life also included membership in the “200 Club.” Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 2, from 4-8pm at Dierna Funeral Home 2309 Culver Rd. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 10am at St. Kateri St. Cecilia Church. Entombment at White Haven Memorial Park.
