Obituary of Florence Sardisco

Florence Rose Sardisco (Montrose) Rochester- passed away peacefully at age 96 on December 23,2020. Florence was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Samuel P. Sardisco and son-in-law Norman Williams. She is survived by her daughters Karen Sardisco Williams, Sandra (Paul) Foery, and son Ronald (Linda) Sardisco. She is lovingly remembered by granddaughters Christin (Zachary) Keller, Lisa (Justin) McIntyre, Michelle Foery (fiancé Shane Evans), Rachel Sardisco (fiancé Anthony Gillis), grandsons Jeff Sardisco & Ian Williams, great grandchildren Rex, Nolan, & Wyatt McIntyre, and Gavin Keller, sister Ellen Celso along with many nieces and nephews. Florence was an employee of Kodak for 38 years. She was a talented seamstress, had numerous hobbies including knitting & gardening, and was an avid reader. She was devoted to her family and a dedicated friend to many. Florence enjoyed gathering her family for Sunday dinners and summer barbecues by the pool. Her patient manner, strong disposition and quick wit will be sorely missed by the many lives she touched. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of The Maplewood Nursing Home in Webster, NY for their thoughtfulness, compassion and care. Memorial services will be held privately for the family.
