Obituary of Catherine T. Hayes

Rochester – Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on July 26th at age 82. Predeceased by her brothers, Sylvester and Louis Bagnato and sister-in-law Doris Bagnato. Survived by her soulmate and husband David Hayes and siblings Mary Jane Bagnato (Lee), Loraine Spatola (Robert), Vincent Bagnato; children Dale Abrams (Wendy), Jim Abrams (Terri), Lisa Zelazny (Steve), Mark Abrams, June Hayes, Julie Hayes, and son-in-law Bill Zelazny; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and serval other family members.

She was an intelligent, well read, woman who enjoyed musicals, cooking, traveling to 15 countries with David, and above all spending time with her family. She stood strongly by the ones she loved and gave to those in need without question.

Calling hours are Thursday August 1st from 3 – 7 at Dierna Funeral Home. Her funeral mass will be held at St. James on Friday August 2nd at 10:00 am.
