Obituary of June Stevens

June Stevens, longtime resident of Rochester passed away Thursday, May 28th at the Monroe Community Hospital Nursing Home under the care of Hospice. Born March 25, 1923 in Fine, NY, daughter of the late Frank and Agnes Russell. She married Vincent Lionel Stevens in January 1939. The marriage ended in divorce. June worked many different jobs, including many years at Fanny Farms, until retiring. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her children Clinton (Fran) of Savannah, NY, Dawn Everett of Palmyra, NY, Bonnie Chandler of Rochester, NY, Vaughn Stevens of Italy, NY, Dale Stevens (Joan) of Florida, 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, 2 sons Sean and Avery Stevens and a daughter, RebaKate Stevens, her siblings Charles, Raymond, Render, Aubry, and Lee Russell and Charlotte Popp. Services will be held for the family on Saturday May 30th at Dierna Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to the Rochester Food Bank or Hospice.
