Obituary of Joseph William Bass

Joseph William Bass " Papa Joe", age 72 passed away peacefully on April 17,2020. He is survived by his loving wife Joyce Irene, married almost 48 years. Daughter Kelly Holley, son-in-law Blake Holley, son Sean Bass, daughter-in-law Jennifer Bass and youngest son Matthew Bass. Grandchildren Madyson Bass, Izabella Holley, Winter Holley, Nicholas Bass and Tyler Cronin. Sister Kathy Bass Reaves, brother Frederick Bass, niece Margaret Ann Reaves and nephew Brady Scott Reaves. Predeceased by father Fred Ashton Bass and mother Margaret Anna Bass. Joseph worked for Clark Moving & Storage for close to 30 years and was "Papa Joe" to all who knew him. He was also a proud Vietnam Veteran. One of his favorite past times was fishing with his "boys" Sean and Matthew. He had a great love for Elvis Presley and his football team Cleveland Browns. He was a very loving and understanding grandfather who was so proud of all his grandchildren. He could not hold his excitement for when his first grandchild Madyson was to be born. Papa Joe was not a man of many words but he did have a very big heart and so much love for his family and everyone he met. Celebration of Life to be held at a later date, to have a drink on "Papa Joe". GO BROWNS!!!!
